A Rare Honor for a Danish Thriller Author — And Two Global Book Awards!

I'm proud to share news that doesn't happen every day for a Danish author: I've received two medals at the Global Book Awards 2025.

  • BRONZE — Thrillers: Conspiracy
  • SILVER — Thrillers: Historical

International recognition is never guaranteed—especially for writers from a small language market like Denmark. Most Danish authors publish primarily for Scandinavian readers, and only a few break through to a global audience. That's why these awards mean more than just medals; they signal that Danish thriller fiction can stand shoulder‑to‑shoulder with the best on the international stage.

For me, it's a powerful reminder that stories can travel far beyond borders, languages, and expectations. And they only do so because readers like you push them forward—by reading, sharing, and recommending them to others.

Thank you for helping my work reach the world. I'm excited for what comes next and grateful to have you along for the journey.
